Viewing Merchant Information
The View Merchant screen contains two tabs: Merchant Details and Merchant Users.
Merchant Details
The Merchant Details page has two main sections.
The top section contains gateway account information and details about the merchant’s business.
The bottom section contains the following subsections:
■Owner/Principal Information
■Payment Methods—You can update this information by clicking the Edit button.
■Additional Services
■Rates
Updating Merchant Details
From the View Merchant > Merchant Details page, Click Edit. Enter information into the following fields:

Field | Description |
Reference ID | A Reference ID for the new merchant. This ID is unique and for your record-keeping only; it is not used or maintained by Authorize.Net. Note We recommend that you enter the backend merchant ID or merchant’s acquirer MID as the Reference ID. |
Sales Rep ID | The ID of the Sales Representative. |
Address | The business street address. |
City | The city in which the business is located. |
State | The state in which the business is located. If adding a non-US business, enter the province, region, or county. |
Zip | The ZIP code for the location of the business. If adding a non-US business, enter the postal code or postcode. |
Email | The primary business email address. |
Phone | The business phone number. |
Website URL | The business web site address. |
Merchant Users
Merchant Users is a read-only page that shows all users associated with the merchant account. You can view the following information:
■Name
■Login ID
■Role
■Status
Reopening a Closed Merchant Account
You can reopen a closed account belonging to a merchant. From View Merchant > Merchant Details, click Reopen Account in the middle column of the page. Reopening the account activates all services and billing processes.
